Vivere nel tempo. Riflessioni sull’invecchiamento
THE BOOK: In contemporary society youth and maturity are considered the only seasons of life in which people can gain a sense of achievement, while the elderly are seen as a symbol of yesteryear. This study, on the contrary, outlines a vision of ageing as the opportunity of a conscious and deep human experience. In order to improve the elderly social condition, the book Vivere nel Tempo stresses the importance of providing more in-depth knowledge of the senility before the loss of self-sufficiency, when the elderly are no longer fully active and healthy.
