Alberto Bradanini Graduated in Political Sciences at La Sapienza University of Rome, he began his diplomatic career in 1975. Among the various positions held, from 1996 to 1998 he was consul general of Italy in Hong Kong, from 2008 to January 2013 ambassador of Italy in Iran, and from 2013 to May 2015 Italian ambassador to China. He is currently president of the Center for Studies on Contemporary China. In addition to numerous articles and essays, he is the author of Beyond the Great Wall (2018) and China. Nenni’s gaze and today’s challenges(2021).

Andrea Cavazzuti For the Chinese Lao An, he is an Italian photographer and artist. Graduated in Chinese language and literature at Ca’ Foscari in Venice, he went to China to study in the early 1980s. They were fundamental years for his life, the reason for his indissoluble bond with the country. He was the youngest author of the seminal exhibition for European photography, Viaggio in Italia (1982), conceived by Luigi Ghirri. Since the 1990s he has dedicated himself to videos and films. He has participated in numerous productions, both television and film.
